Week in Review 10/8/11

It has been a great week!  My 6 year old and I survived our first week alone, and it went well!  I actually cooked every night (I was worried about cooking for just the 2 of us), and we have had fun.  I am the one that is usually short on patience in our house, but that didn't happen this week.  We even went to a neighbors house and played and had a fire Friday night. Now we will just see how the weekend goes.  I have a couple playdates lined up, and we have to get the house clean for a showing on Sunday, so I think it will be busy.

Chicken in a French Pan Sauce and Polenta Fry Fail - Chicken Breasts in a quick and easy french pan sauce.  Great for weeknight dinners. 
Soft Pretzel Bites - Homemade soft pretzels in little bite sized portions
Cheddar Bacon Ale Dip - Cheese, Bacon and Beer!  Great dip for with soft pretzels.
Pumpkin Spice Hot Apple Cider - Hot Apple Cider with Pumpkin Spiced Syrup topped with Whipped Cream
