Dessert Wontons

Happy Sunday morning to everyone!  Hope your weekend is going well, and you have a great start to the week!  It has been rainy all weekend here, so we haven't gotten to do much.  I took my 6 year old to see the movie Hop yesterday, very cute!  Today....organizing a closet.  I know, you are jealous!

This morning I will leave you with a super quick and easy dessert.  I had leftover wonton wrappers, that I didn't want to throw away.  I figured why not make a dessert out of them.  Oh, did I mention these are pretty healthy too!  You could fill these guys with anything you wanted.  Ideally I would have put strawberries and Nutella, but I didn't have any Nutella.  I am not putting any quantities in the recipe, because how you make it is really up to you.

Printable Recipe

Wonton Wrappers
Strawberries, diced
Chocolate Chips ( I used mini)
Hot Fudge
Whip Cream

Lay out 1 wonton wrapper on the counter at an angle.  Fill with chocolate chips, and diced strawberries.  Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water.  Fold over, to form a triangle.

I put them on a tray and put them in the fridge for awhile to harden.  Spray a pan with non-stick spray, and heat these up.  Cook for about 3 minutes per side, until lightly browned.  Drizzle with hot fudge, and a squirt of whip cream!  These were a great last minute treat!
